Jerrell Cassady received his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Purdue University in 1999, and teaches both undergraduate and graduate Educational Psychology courses, including the advanced "Learning Theories" graduate course. His research interests include studying the effects of examples on learning; the impact of computers on learning; cognitive test anxiety; and early literacy acquisition. In addition to basic research, he directs several program evaluations, partly through his fellowship with the Center for Collaboration for Educational Development.
