Main Office Happenings
Penny Nowaczyk will be out of the office Wednesday through Friday of this week.  If you should need anything please see Linda.

From now on when sending email to the main office for Penny Nowaczyk or Linda Jones please cc the other person.  This way if one person is away you will get a response.  It will also help the office stay abreast of what is happening.

Distance Course Requests and Changes
All distance course requests and changes (e.g., changing dates/times of a course or adding a course to the offerings) need to be run through the main office before contacting the School of Extended Education.

Kudos
Holmes Finch with colleague Brian French and our own Jeff Trotter (PhD in School Psychology) have had a presentation entitled "Missing data and dimensionality assessment for item response data:  A Monte Carlo comparison of methods" accepted for presentation at the Fordham Conference on Psychometrics in NYC this summer.

Holmes Finch also had the paper "Comparison of MANOVA and a structural equation modeling method for comparing observed score group means on multiple dependent variables:  A simulation study " accepted for presentation at the International Meeting of the Psychometric Society.

Faculty Meeting
This is a reminder that Wednesday, April 23 from 1:00-2:30pm in TC 012 we will have a faculty meeting.
 
Personnel Selection & Personnel Selection Committee
Directly following the faculty meeting on Wednesday, April 23 the personnel selection committee from this year and next year's will meet in TC 012 to discuss positions.
 
Important Graduate Program NCATE Meeting
Thursday, April 24th from 8:30 am until 10:30 am in TC 828 graduate program directors will meet with the Dean's office to discuss progress made toward NCATE requirements.  

TC End of the Year Celebration
Don't forget the TC End of the Year Celebration is this Saturday, April 26th from 10:00 am to noon in Student Center Cardinal Hall.
 
School Psychology Core Faculty Retreat
The School Psychology Core will hold a daylong retreat at the E.B. and Bertha C. Ball Center on Tuesday, April 29 (9am-5pm).  
 
Felicia Dixon's Retirement Reception
Don't forget Felicia Dixon's retirement reception on Thursday, May 1st between 3:00 – 5:00pm at the E.B. and Bertha C. Ball Center.  We will be having wine, cheese, and assortment of other appetizers. It should be a very good time to celebrate all of Felicia's accomplishments.
