Penny Nowaczyk
Penny's son is back in the hospital and undergoing testing for his heart as I write.  I hoped to have more details about his status to share this evening, but all I know right now is it looks like open-heart surgery will occur shortly.

Educational/Developmental Psychology Position Candidate Visits

Kudos
Eric Pierson and Holmes Finch had a presentation accepted at the Midwestern Psychological Association meeting this spring in Chicago entitled "Prep:  Not your daddy's p-value".   

Holmes Finch and School Psychology graduate student Teresa Laking also had a presentation accepted entitled "Evaluation of methods for interpreting results from a discriminant analysis" accepted at the same meeting.

Upcoming APA Site Visit for School Psychology
Thursday and Friday, February 14 and 15 we will have an APA accreditation visit for School Psychology.  This is a very important visit for all of us.  In particular, all faculty members should make themselves available on Friday, February 15 between 11:30 - 12:00 to meet with the site visit team in TC 518.  All School Psychology students should make themselves available on Thursday, February 14 between 1:30 - 2:30 the room is TBA. The final schedule has been emailed to you by Ray Dean and will be placed in the front office for your review this week.
