We are the academic home to:

  • an APA-accredited and nationally ranked doctoral (Ph.D.) program in School Psychology

PsychoeducationalDiagnostic & Intervention Clinic

  • Provides psychological and educational services to the University and community through consultation, assessment, and intervention; and is a training site for school psychology graduate programs.
  • Over 700 assessments were provided last year through the clinic, practicum and internship program.
  • Provides field-based school psychology services to 9 school corporations (Blue River, Marion, Blackford, East Central, Alexandria, Hancock, Mississinewa, Randolph, New Castle); and to Burris Lab School and the Youth Opportunity Center
  • Provides assessment and consultation services to over 125 members of the community a year

 

Neuropsychological Laboratory

  • Provides comprehensive evaluations for children and adults of known or suspected brain illness or injury, including learning disorders; and consultation to physicians, employers and schools; and reevaluations to monitor treatment outcomes and recovery
  • Over 2000 patients have been seen since 1984
  • Over one million dollars in research grants
  • Over 400 students have received training in neuropsychological assessment
  • Over 500 research papers, books and journal articles have been produced
  • Over 50 former students hold positions in neuropsychology
