The Northeastern Indiana School Study Council is an organization composed of 22 school corporations in Northeastern Indiana.
Membership
The membership of this Council shall consist of those public school systems which subscribe to the purposes of the Council, wish to share in its activities, and pay its proportionate share of inservice programs. Only public schools located within the following seven counties will be eligible for membership in the Council: Elkhart, DeKalb, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, and Whitley.
Governed By
The Council is governed by the officers consisting of a President, a Vice President, a Treasurer, and an Executive Director. Officers shall be voting representatives of member school systems.
Meetings
The Council meets monthly. Various inservice programs are planned on a regular basis and a yearly retreat is held each summer.
