Goal II: Ball State University will promote a learning climate that values civility, diversity, multicultural awareness, appreciation of the arts, healthy and productive living, and environmental sustainability.

1. Foster a civil and just climate in the campus community.

2. Infuse the values stated above into undergraduate and graduate curricula.

3. Encourage scholarship, service, and practice that incorporates commitment to the values stated above.

4. Encourage participation in on- and off-campus events and activities that focus on the values listed above.

5. Increase the number of students studying abroad and the number of students, faculty, and staff participating in international exchange programs.
