
Ramon Avila's teaching focuses on industrial marketing and professional selling and sales management. He established Ball State's H. H. Gregg Center for Professional Selling, which has received national recognition.
Accomplishments
- Serves as a consultant and has worked with major corporations such as American National Bank, John Deere, Indiana Bell, Indiana Energy, Indiana Michigan Power, Lees Inn, and Star Bank.
- Published writer and researcher in many journals, including the Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, the Journal of Marketing Management, and the Journal of Financial Planning.
- Serves on the editorial review boards of five business-related journals
Received the Mu Kappa Tau Award for Outstanding Contributor to the Sales Profession. - Served as program chair for the National Conference in Sales Management.
