No More Paper Bills
Don't forget. Paper bills are no longer mailed to students. Through Cardinal QuickPay, a notification is sent to your BSU e-mail account when your current statement is ready to be viewed. Cardinal QuickPay is an electronic system where all students and others authorized by students can view bills, print bills, and make payments online.
E-bills display the same information as traditional paper billing statements, for example, student fees, room and board, and miscellaneous charges; credits; and payments.
Additional Information
» Fees are due when billed by the Bursar's office or before the first day of the semester, whichever comes first.
» Online Independent Learning fees are not a part of the block fees paid by on-campus students. Effective March 1, 2008, the fee for an undergraduate independent learning course is $226 per credit hour.
» Persons sixty years of age or older may enroll at Ball State for half tuition.
» If you wish pay for your fees by check or money order, mail fees to Ball State University, Bursar's Office, Muncie, IN 47306.
» For fall and spring semesters, the Bursar's office has implemented an installment payment plan. This allows students to pay their fees in four equal installments. If your fee payment is received late, the Bursar will assume that you wish to participate in the installment plan and will assess you a $10 fee (assessed monthly) and a $25 late payment fee.
» Students who wish to audit a semester-based face-to-face, Web conferencing, or Online class, must pay full fees. Audit enrollments are not available for Independent Learning Program courses.
» Students enrolled in Extended Education courses are entitled to the support services of University Libraries and University Computing Services. Access to other services and facilities is only available to students who have paid on-campus dedicated fees.
Credit Card Payments
Independent learning and distance education tuition and admission application fees may be paid by credit card (Visa/MasterCard). On-campus tuition and other fees, such as late fees or installment fees or tuition for a previous term, cannot be paid by credit card. However, these additional fees may be paid online by e-check.
The Ball State University Board of Trustees reserves the right to change the fees and other charges for any semester or term. Fees do not cover the cost of texts and other learning materials required in courses.
