You are encouraged to contact your advisor before enrolling in any course to ensure its applicability to your degree program. Thus, you can determine whether a particular course will apply toward your diploma, degree, certification, or other educational goals.
You will need a BSU username and password to register online. If you have forgotten your username or password, e-mail distance@bsu.edu to request this information. The registration form works best when using Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Course confirmation letters, bills, and other correspondence are e-mailed to your BSU computer account. You can access this account at www.bsu.edu/webmail.

Internet, Onsite, and Web Conferencing Classes
The course request and admission deadline for distance education and off-campus classes is approximately two weeks prior to the start of class. Early request promotes the likelihood of course establishment. Any class without sufficient enrollment by the stated deadline must be canceled.
Independent Learning Program Classes
Students may register for independent learning courses online. If you are not currently admitted to the university, you may apply for admission online at www.bsu.edu/distance/admissions. Registrations for independent learning courses are processed in the Independent Learning Program office. Your enrollment period begins when we process your registration.
