Through the College Transition Program (CTP), motivated high school students can get a head start on college by earning college credit while they are completing a high school course.
Often referred to as "dual credit," these courses are taught onsite at high schools by teachers who are employees of the school district and are approved as adjunct instructors by the respective academic department at Ball State. Course content for each high school course is modified to meet college-level standards.
Any credit earned through CTP appears on a university transcript as if the course were taken on Ball State's main campus. The program allows Ball State to offer college credit at a reduced tuition rate in approved high schools throughout east central Indiana.
Benefits The College Transition Program benefits many audiences, including high schools, students, parents, and the university. MORE...
