College Transition Program
CTP Course Transferability
Course Transferability Credit earned under the CTP program will be recorded the same as a course were taken on Ball State campus, and therefore, it will be applicable toward a degree at Ball State University. The courses will also transfer the same as if the course were taken on campus. Most BSU courses are transferable to other colleges or universities. Ultimately, the transfer value of credits earned through the College Transition Program rests with the institution to which a student hopes to transfer the credit. Consult the registrar or admissions office of the college or university that is to accept credit before enrolling in the Ball State course. That way, you will know in advance whether the school selected will accept the credits earned.

Below is a list of universities and colleges we contacted regarding our course transferability. First note, though this list was accurate at the time we contacted the institution, we cannot guarantee that the information is still valid. With changing policies and administration, the best way to know whether a course is transferable is to contact the university now. Regardless, the list is useful as a guide and general information. Also note that some institutions accept transfer credits as "equivalents" while others accept them as "electives." Any institution having multiple campuses should be contacted individually for course evaluation. Do not assume one campus accepts what the other campuses do. Please refer to the separate table for "course equivalents specified."
