If you should ever need to travel to Muncie to meet with an instructor or an advisor, or even take a class, it is important that you understand the university's parking regulations before you leave home. We want your visit to campus to be a pleasant and productive one.

All lots have signs at the entrance stating the type of permit required and enforcement hours.  Enforcement officers patrol these lots frequently to ensure that those who have permits have places to park. So if you are not in the right lot or spot, you will get ticketed, or possibly towed.

Short-term visitors are encouraged to park in metered spaces located throughout campus or on the top level of the Emens Auditorium or Student Center parking structures. So come prepared to pay for parking.

Always allow yourself extra time when coming to campus. If there is a special event taking place, the parking garages may be full or closed and you will need to find another place to park.
