Databases
Ball State University students have access to approximately 170 databases. Many of the databases contain full text articles and are available to students and faculty off campus.
FindIt
Many of the databases have a FindIt, which uses link resolver technology to help students locate the full text of articles found in non-full text databases. The link resolver also has two additional features:
» Citation Linker - Directs students to full text articles using citation information
» Find E-Journals - Provides access to full text journals by title or subject
CardCat
CardCat, University Libraries' online catalog, provides holdings and location information for the materials we own. It also contains chapter titles, summaries, and reviews of many of the items in the catalog. Catalog records for government publications include links to the full text when available.
E-Books
Ball State University Libraries provides access to more than 10,000 e-book titles for students and faculty. Reference resources include 130-plus titles available through Oxford Reference Online and Gale Virtual Reference Library.
