David Letterman Communication and Media Building (LB)


Letterman Building

Opened in Fall 2007, the Letterman Building features leading-edge production facilities and serves as high-tech headquarters for Indiana Public Radio and student-run radio station WCRD-FM. Other features include:
  • The Letterman Scholarship Library, featuring creative projects by recipients of the David Letterman Scholarship. 
  • Screening room, showcasing the “Best of Telecommunications”—a sampling of Ball State student films, including Emmy and Student Academy Award winners and works by Letterman Scholars.
  • Light-filled, “healthy” instructional areas, research labs, offices, and socialization areas that are part of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)-certified facility.
