Wayne Dunham graduated from Ball State University in 1987. He went on to graduate from University of Rochester with a Ph.D. in economcs in 1995. Since then he has worked as an economist with the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice. During his time at the Department of Justice, he served as senior economist on the Department of Justice's Microsoft trial team from 1995 through 2002. In addition, he was detailed to the President's Council of Economic Advisers from 2005 to 2006. He returned to the Department of Justice in 2006. During his time at the Department of Justice and the Council of Economic Advisers, he worked on issues related to intellectual property, telecommunications regulations, legal reform, Internet management and energy markets.
