Scheduling a Videoconference
If the event involves remote locations (any site other than BSU or a DMP participating school), at least a week prior to the event, submit a Video Network Information Center (VNIC) request form to ensure the event is approved and added to the VNIC schedule and that the appropriate network tests are performed between the videoconferencing sites.
If the DMP schools are videoconferencing with each other, you only need to submit a request if the videoconference is expected to go over ½ hour.
Troubleshooting Tips
Having trouble? Please refer to the following Indiana Higher Education Telecommunication System (IHETS) videos for information related to the basic set up of your videoconferencing unit as well as how to use the Polycom system to view other types of classroom support materials.
