This session is an optional “clinic” for the Fellows to learn about Interactive Whiteboards and to get some support for other technology projects and their portfolios.
AGENDA
7:00 to 7:30 PM: Introduction to the Interactive White Boards (IWBs)
In this session, we’ll cover basic connections and procedures for using an IWB. Please find out in advance what IWB options (brands and availability) you have in your school. We do have a few portable IWBs that we can bring to your classroom but give us plenty of lead time. We can support the following brands, depending on what’s in your schools:
- Smart Board
- Promethean ActivBoard
7:30 to 8:30: Portfolio Help and Open Studio Time
This will be open studio time to work on the following:
- Software setup for an IWB
- Portfolios
- EDTEC project help
- STEM Probeware
- Scheduling equipment and onsite-services
8:30 to 9:00 PM: Learning Response Clickers
