Digital Portfolio Seminar Oct. 27

Using new Web 2.0 technologies, today’s digital natives have new ways to construct portfolios as narratives of their academic growth. The Ball State teacher education portfolio model has evolved since 2002 to now incorporate Web 2.0 techniques within a longitudinal view of learning. School Technology Leadership Seminar

The first School Technology Leadership (STL) seminar will be July 9, 2009 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It is open to all educators working or interested in school or district-level technology facilitation or leadership. The seminar is free and registration is online. Learn more at www.bsu.edu/cte/stl/

Emerging Media Initiative

The CTE co-wrote four proposals for the Emerging Media Initiative (EMI). Two projects made it through the first round of proposals. One with Dr. Sheron Fraser-Burgess in the Department of Educational Studies made it through the second round and was funded for 2009-2010. See the EMI press release.
