The mission of the Center for Technology in Education (CTE) is to improve teaching and learning through research, development, and outreach initiatives that result in sustainable solutions in schools and communities. This mission is served through the four general goals:

  • TEACHING: Engage pre- and in-service educators in shared discovery and application of emerging technologies.
  • RESEARCH: Conduct research that informs policies, practice, and technologies for teaching and learning.
  • DESIGN: Design and deliver content, systems, and programs for professional development and classroom teaching.
