Welcome to the CTE’s presence in the heart of Indiana. In 2010, the CTE launched its offsite presence at the Ball State Indianapolis Center, on the corner of Meridian and Maryland Streets, Indiana’s second busiest intersection. By joining the other programs at the Indy Center, the CTE establishes a unique and strategic presence as a resource and out reach hub for Indiana’s teachers and schools.

Goals of CTE@Indy:
  1. Engage teachers, schools, vendors, and government agencies as partners in identifying critical needs in schools.
  2. Showcase strategic and emerging technologies that the CTE can bring to schools and communities.
  3. Build a sustainable hub for school professional development programs and services

CTE Services at the Indy Center
In partnership with Ball State Building Better Communities initiative and the expert staff of the Ball State Indianapolis Center, the CTE is Indianapolis partner for:
  • Workshops, receptions, and conferences for technology outreach to schools and the agencies and industries that serve them
  • Vendor exhibits and demonstrations
  • Teacher and schools showcases and institutes, in partnership with the professional organizations
  • Meetings with Ball State consultants on grants, research, and technology integration
