This article presents the interface of an implementation of methods to manipulate equations of this form A₁ &cdots; A_m where the A_i are matrices. The methods described are independent of m. The code is based on LAPACK and the BLAS and supports virtually all of the matrix formats supported by those packages. Timings of the implementation on several machines are also given.
