CS 536 - Database Design.
Fundamental concepts of designing, using, and implementing database systems and applications. Topics include: database modeling and design, the languages and facilities provided by the database management systems. Class programming includes: Oracle PL/SQL, loader, JDBC, embedded SQL in Java, Oracle Web development, JavaServer Pages, and Java Servlets. Prerequisite: CS 334 or permission of the instructor.
