Funding for graduate school is both similar to and different from funding for an undergraduate education. A major similarity is that loans are available, based on financial need. A major difference is that common need-based funding sources, such as a Pell Grant, are generally not available to graduate students. And, with the exception of loans, funding usually is based on merit, rather than need.
Some employers cover the costs of graduate education. Contact your employer to see if this option is available to you. And you can also seek on- or off-campus employment to earn money for graduate school. The Ball State Career Center can help.
