What classes should I take in high school if I want to be a CS major?
Take as much math as you can. All CS majors are required to take calculus before completing the major. Ideally, you should be ready to take calculus in the fall of your freshman year. This means you should take a high school course with a title like "pre-calculus" or "trigonometry".

During freshman orientation, in the summer before your freshman year, a math placement test will be available (It can also be taken later at the testing center in LU366). This test is recommended for all majors that require calculus, including CS. It will help place you in the correct math course here at Ball State.

If you take an advanced placement (AP) calculus course and score sufficently well on the nationally standardized test administered at the end of such a course, you may be able to skip calculus when coming to Ball State.
