Instructions for Printing from the Labs
RB355, RB368, RB369, and RB134C Labs
Please preview all work before submitting it for printing.  If the printers are very busy it may take a few minutes for your print job to begin.  Please take this into consideration before re-submitting.

Windows® Printing:
Printers are named according to which lab they are in.
RB355 users can print via \\LANCELOT\RB355
RB368 users can print via \\LANCELOT\RB368
RB369 users can print via \\LANCELOT\RB369

By default, the printer service should be started at login. However, sometimes the service does not start or later stops.  To add print service to a machine:

  • Open a web browser and type http://lancelot/printers in the address line.
  • Click on the name of the printer that matches the lab number
  • Click on connect under the "Printer Actions" side menu
  • Answer "yes" if prompted for verification of adding the printer
  • After receiving the verification screen the printer can be used

The above procedure can also be used to install the RB369ps PostScript printer.

     lpr -Prb355 filename
To print documents from the UNIX system to the RB369ps printer type:
