Criminal Justice and Criminology
Criminal Justice Career Fair (10/12/2002)

Each spring, the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology, in conjunction with the Department's student honor society – Alpha Phi Sigma, hosts a career day.  The Criminal Justice Career Day (CJCD) was initiated to expose students of all class levels to potential careers in criminal justice.  CJCD draws nearly 40 criminal justice agencies, from both the public and private sector, to the Ball State University campus to meet with our students and to discuss career opportunities, hiring practices, and position requirements.  The Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology student body has benefited from this program and there have been many students who have acquired employment as a result of the event and their efforts.  Several of the agency participants are Ball State University criminal justice alumnae who enjoy returning to campus to share their experiences in the criminal justice system and to encourage our current students to begin honing their skills and abilities for the job market.
