Kiwi Magazine, a magazine dedicated to "helping parents raise their children in the healthiest way possible by introducing families to the latest in natural and organic living—showing how to practice this lifestyle on an everyday basis," has included Ball State University in it's, "2007 Green College Report:  50 schools that will help your kids help the planet."  The first page of the report features recent LEED-certified buildings on campus (the David Letterman Communications Building and Park Hall residence hall) and the Hybrid campus shuttle bus system.

The report lists 50 colleges for the consideration of its readers which, "we believe are making a significant commitment to the environment".  In addition to the projects above, BSU's listing cites, bio-diesel service fleet vehicles, the campus reforestation program, the availablility of of recycled products at the campus bookstore, and available academic minors in sustainable practices.
