PARTICIPANT FEEDBACK (from 2007 attendees):
Ed Wyatt and Tom Jarvis are humble experts in their respective fields. They also understand the needs and concerns of teachers. It is an extremely rare opportunity to have one person – let alone two – to pass on pertinent information valuable for teachers to utilize in the classroom. The variety of guest speakers and "free" information from Ed made this workshop a worthwhile and meaningful experience. Kudos to Ed & Tom!! -- Ben Thomas, Math/Technology Teacher, Clay City High School, Clay City, Indiana
This was a great hands-on practical course. I gained valuable resources to use in my welding class. There are many job opportunities in the welding field for students. Ed Wyatt has a VAST welding knowledge and background and fits the true definition of teacher. – Charity Keffaber, Ag Teacher, Hamilton Southeastern School, Fishers, Indiana
This is a good workshop to show various aspects of welding and metal properties. It provides a lot of suggestions of where to get classroom resources. The numerous hands-on activities were very effective in learning welding techniques. – Gary Mosbaugh, Ag Science and Business Teacher, Southmont High School, Crawfordsville, Indiana
The workshop was a great opportunity to gain exposure to welding, blacksmithing, and material properties. With hands-on experience lab time and instructors with professional welding experience, I was able to gain more knowledge to take back to my students. – Annette Applegate, Ag Teacher, Perry Central High School, Leopold, Indiana
This program is very well organized. Ed and his associates make this workshop a very good learning experience. – Dean Dunham, Tech Ed Instructor, North Vermillion High School, Cayuga, Indiana
This workshop was one of the best university level classes that I have taken. I was able to receive instructional material that I will implement into my classroom. I also gained skills from a professional welder. – Heather Barrett, Ag Teacher, Oak Hill High School, Converse, Indiana
Great hands-on workshop. Ed is a plethora of information and is always willing to share! -- Scott Stucky, Teacher, Clay City High School, Clay City, Indiana
