The Center for Organizational Resources (COR) partners with many community and professional organizations throughout the state of Indiana. These partnerships assist the university in fulfilling its goal of "Building Better Communities" and to help maintain sustainability of local economics and cultures and to help improve the quality of life.
One major initiative of COR is the offering of training courses and workshops in conjunction with many Chamber of Commerce organizations. These courses assist Indiana businesses with their training needs as well as help meet community needs as they relate to personal growth and development.
COR also forms alliances with other community organizations such as economic development offices, schools systems, government agencies, and community-based learning centers statewide.
Developing leadership and supervisory development programs for professional organizations is a COR specialty. These programs are designed in accordance with the particular needs and audience of the organization and can be one-day programs or a series of courses conducted over a number of days or weeks.
