Expands focus on health promotion, disease prevention, risk reduction, and nursing care of adults with acute/chronic/disabling conditions across the lifespan. Includes emphasis on critical thinking, communication, diversity, and further professional role development. Learning experiences in classroom, laboratory, hospital, and community settings. Prerequisite: HSC 180; NUR 322, 340, 370; statistics; departmental permission. Parallel: NUR 404, 406. Open only to baccalaureate nursing majors.
