MATHS 111 - Pre-Calculus Algebra.
Such topics as polynomial functions and equations, exponential and logarithmic functions, determinants, systems of equations and inequalities, mathematical induction, the binomial theorem, permutations and combinations, and progressions. Prerequisite: MATHS 108, or appropriate score on the SAT/ACT or mathematics placement test, or permission of the department chairperson. Not open to students who have credit in MATHS 161 or higher.
