Study of mass communication processes, mass media, and new media in historical and societal contexts, emphasizing ethics and law, and constitutional issues. Students with credit in TCOM 101 are not required to take JOURN 101. Not open to students who have credit in TCOM 101. Open only to students in an approved journalism department program.
