JOUR 250 - Introduction to Advertising

A survey of the advertising communication process and its history. Focuses on communication research, creative strategy, campaign planning, function of mass media as carriers of advertising, and evaluation of advertising effectiveness. Prerequisite: JOUR 101. Open only to students pursuing a major in advertising or public relations.
