An introduction to foreign language teaching at the secondary level. Emphasis on establishing an informed teaching philosophy, fostering basic skills for teaching foreign language, and beginning preparation for teacher licensure. Discussion of state and national standards for foreign language teaching and initial development of the digital portfolio. Not open to students who have credit in EDSEC 150.
