CHEM 360 - Essentials of Biochemistry.
Organic chemistry of carboxylic acids, amines, and their derivatives; biochemistry of proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, and nucleic acids; metabolism and the regulation of metabolic processes. For students in life sciences, dietetics, and medical technology. Three hours of lecture and one three-hour laboratory session weekly. Prerequisite: CHEM 231 or its equivalent.
