TCOM 351 - Advanced Interface/Interaction
Analysis of interaction design of DVDs and dynamic Web sites. Foundational elements of TCOM 350 are expanded to include:advanced graphic design; audience considerations; interactivity; multi-screen layout; video compositing and usability. Motion graphics, color grading, 2-D animation, and special effects editing are explored in depth. Students learn advanced formatting for television, Web, and mobile devices. Prerequisite: pre-telecommunications core courses with C (2.0) or better grades in each, and a 2.5 grade-point average for these courses; TCOM 350. Open only to approved telecommunications majors and minors.
