Contemporary best practices in instructional design, implementation, and monitoring for students who require severe interventions are presented and applied at the adolescent and young adult level. Topics include transitional planning, job training, group instruction, and advanced positive supports for challenging behaviors. Prerequisite: SPCE 379 with a grade of C or better; permission of the department chairperson.
