Educational assessment practices with students with exceptional needs emphasizing curriculum-based assessment and informal tests. Role of the special educator on the evaluation team of qualified professionals. May be repeated only one time. Prerequisite: grades of C of better in EDPS 345; SPCE 202, 371; admission to the teacher education program; passing scores on the CASA; 2.5 overall grade-point average; permission of the department chairperson.
