SPAA 637 - Clinical Approaches to Atypical Populations.

Advanced orientation to clinical populations of children with atypical language development (i.e., mental retardation, cerebral palsy) is reviewed. Assessment and intervention practices are introduced from a theoretical and applied perspective, pertinent to the specific etiologies of atypical language disorders. Prerequisite: permission of the department chairperson. Open only to SPAA graduate students.
