PSYS 478 - Teaching Assistantship

Under the supervision of the instructor of a course, students will carry out course-related duties assigned by the instructor. A concurrent seminar will aid them in integrating such experiences with the pedagogy of the teaching of psychology and with knowledge of the content of the course to which they are assigned. Prerequisite: PSYS 100; a grade of at least B+ in the course in which the student is assisting; permission of the instructor. A total of 6 hours of credit may be earned, but no more than 3 in any one semester or term and only 3 hours of credit may be applied to meet the requirements of the psychological science major. Open only to juniors and seniors.
