Current political, economic, and social problems in the United States. Examines different approaches to the study of public policy and problems inherent in carrying out the basic stages of the policy process including issue definition, choices among alternatives, agenda setting, decision- making, implementation, and evaluation. Prerequisite recommended: POLS 130.
