The internal government and external political strategy of private associations--trade associations, unions, and professional, church, and patriotic organizations. The implications of pressure group activities for constitutionalism, majoritarianism, and constituency, and the effects of pressure groups upon political parties and the political process. Not open to students who have credit in POLS 371.
