PHYCS 554 - Electronics 1.
Introductory DC and AC circuit theory, semiconductor components, power supplies, transistor amplification, integrated circuit operational amplifiers, active filters, oscillators, and function generators. Basic combinational logic circuits and Boolean algebra. Emphasizes application of integrated circuits. Prerequisite: PHYCS 122 or permission of the department chairperson.
