MUSE 353 - Secondary Generl Music Methods
Focuses on philosophy, techniques, and materials needed to teach a general music course in middle and high school settings. Emphasizes teaching skill development, musical characteristics, needs of adolescents, performance-based assessment, technology, classroom management, continued portfolio development, and field experiences. Prerequisite: C or better grades in MUSE 100, 150; permission of the director of the school.
