MATH 560 - History of Mathematics

The development of mathematics from pre-history to the seventeenth century. Topics may include number concepts and numeration, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, analytic geometry, and calculus. Prerequisite: MATH 161 or 165. Not open to students who have credit in MATH 460.
