Study of brands, branding, and the role of advertising and public relations in brand development. Explores how brands are built, leveraged, measured, and nurtured; the roles brands play in society; trends in brand development; and future of brands. Prerequisite: JOURN 103, 104, and 250 or 261. Open only to students pursuing a major in advertising or public relations.
