Examination of the ethical, legal, political, and social pressures on strategic communication. Explores ethical and legal implications in the workplace, with attention given to the historical development of laws and ethics in communication. Prerequisite: JOUR 250 or 261. Open only to students pursuing a major in advertising or public relations.
