Introduces financial investments such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds and their markets. The principles of diversification and trade-offs between risk and expected return are introduced. The efficient market hypothesis, portfolio theory and performance evaluation are examined. Prerequisite or parallel: FIN 300.
