CPSY 644 - Practicum in Counseling
Supervised experience that includes counseling with one or more of the following populations: children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families under the supervision of a professional counselor. Practical experience with the delivery of mental health services including conducting intake assessments and record keeping. Prerequisite: CPSY 600 or 605 and 606; permission of the department chairperson. Prerequisite or parallel: CPSY 621. A total of 6 hours of credit may be earned, but no more than 3 in any one semester or term. Open only to counseling psychology masters students; other graduate students by permission.
