COMM 679 - Practical Experience
Nonpaid supervised work and learning experience related to careers in human communication with business firms or public agencies. Job description may include, but is not limited to, research, training, planning, informative or persuasive campaigns, problem solving, and conflict management. Prerequisite: permission of the internship coordinator and/or department chairperson; 18 hours in communication studies. A total of 6 hours of credit may be earned, but no more than 3 in any one semester or term.
